This 1-day learning experience explores the art of building meaningful relationships as the fundamental building block of care that puts the person living dementia first.  Participants gain a powerful appreciation for the role of sensitivity, awareness and presence in identifying the needs of those living with dementia in long-term care communities.  By reframing our perspective of wha's possibe, we create a culture of care focused on the continued growth and development of people living with dementia.

Neighbourhood Guide Training

this dynamic curriculum was designed to help managers make the shift from managing departments to guiding empowered self-managed teams. This training is completed in two sessions of 3 days each for a total of 29 modules that can be used to guide a neighbourhood team to self management.  Each module is complete with all of the handouts needed to deliver the curriculum and assist guides in moving teams in process improvement, problem-solving and decision making about their daily work.  Never before has this kind of resource and training been available for long-term care communities.
